iSIGN rolls out proximity marketing solution

Digital signs will 'talk' to your phone when you're in range.

The Toronto-based firm is pitching its Bluetooth service at agencies and marketers across North America.

Consumers within three to 300 feet of a retail presence can receive relevant offers to their phone at participating stores.

Messages can range from product coupons and promotions, to videos, music, movie trailers, and other rich-media content.

“With technology that allows digital signs to ‘talk and interact’ with mobile devices that are in proximity, advertisers can deliver relevant offers and incentives at exactly the right time,” said Alex Romanov, CEO of iSIGN.

“It represents a powerful union of digital and mobile technologies.”
