Is HTC's Endevour the world's first quad-core phone?

Re-named Edge device ups the processor ante.

News of the handset was first leaked in November, but now new disclosures by Modaco have confirmed the name change and awesome processing power.

These reports suggest the Endeavour will have a 720p resolution screen, a Tegra chipset, 8mp rear-facing camera, Ice Cream Sandwich, 32GB of internal storage and a 4.7" display.

And powering it all is Nvidia's Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

Interesting that HTC should choose Nvidia, as it has historically had an association with Qualcomm.
