Favourites marketing campaign seen as a success.
Mobile firm YOC has announced that the Iron Man 2 movie trailer was watched 26,000 times in ten days, due to a marketing campaign in 3 UK's Favourites app.
The app, which appears on the homescreen of new handsets sold by 3, carried sponsored links to Iron Man 2 content, including the trailer
Yoc says that overall, the link was 'engaged' 481,572 times, with a click-through rate of 1.55%. 86,413 people notched up more than 1.8 million page impressions during the campaign.
"We’ve found the app to be an enormously successful vehicle for brands to drive engagement through a rich media experience," says YOC MD Christian Louca.
3 and YOC are also running Favourites campaigns for Walkers and BBC Radio 1.
