Reports say upgraded processor means second-gen iPod Touch outperforms its cousin.
TouchArcade says Apple stealthily upgraded the CPU on the second-gen iPod Touch to run at 532MHz, compared to 412 MHz on both the original model and the new iPhone 3G.The report details benchmark testing carried out by developer Handheld Games Corp, which says performance of its TouchSports Tennis game is markedly different across the two Apple devices.
As evidence of this, the developer has created a video it claims shows that the load times on the 2nd gen iPod Touch are faster than iPhone 3G.
