WeeWorld brings its customisable cartoon characters to the App Store.
Remember WeeWorld and its WeeMee avatars? The company was exploring virtual items and social features on mobile years ago, before the onset of apps-mania.
We thought it had gone quiet, but actually the company has been evolving into a social virtual world, which in September last year announced that more than 30 million WeeMees had been created on the service.
Now it's got an iPhone app. WeeMee Avatar Creator launched in the App Store this morning, allowing people to create their own avatars using more than 250 items.
Users can then send their WeeMees by email or MMS, or post them on Facebook and Twitter. The app costs $0.99 (App Store link).
