"They cost eight bucks to make and I pee on every one," says Bart.

Hugely popular TV show The Simpsons went head-to-head with the almost equally popular vendor Apple last night.

The episode, entitled ‘MyPods and Boomsticks’ features Mapple boss Steve Mobs (a thinly veiled reference to real life Apple CEO Steve Jobs) broadcasting an announcement from an underwater HQ.

Prentending to be Mr. Mobs, Bart hijacks the announcement, proclaiming: "You think you're cool because you buy a $500 phone with a picture of a fruit on it. Well guess what? They cost eight bucks to make and I pee on every one."

The episode also features Lisa Simpson walking into a ‘Mapple Store’ stocked with MyPods, MyPhones and MyCubes, and gasping ‘Its so sterile.’

The episode should air over here later this year.
