Apple resolves dispute with IBM to appoint Mark Papermaster in a top iPhone role.
The former IBM VP is set to become Apple's VP of Devices Hardware Engineering. The hire was originally announced last November, but was held up when IBM insisted there was a employment contract issue.That's now been resolved, so Papermaster will lead Apple’s iPod and iPhone hardware engineering teams.
