Half of new users are on mobile, and 10 million overall are using Apple's device
TechCrunch reports on the latest numbers from music streaming service Pandora, which is claiming to have 40 million users globally.
Significantly, the company says half of the 600,000 new users it signs up each week are on mobile handsets. Moreover, ten million people are using Pandora on their iPhones - up 400 per cent YoY.
To-recap, Pandora doesn't allow users to chose exactly what music they wish to listen to (like, say, Spotify), and instead works more like a radio station.
TechCrunch cites stats that say Pandora is now accounting for 44 per cent of all internet radio listening hours.
