Survey results from Appcelerator have showed that Apple iOS is moving ahead of Google Android for enterprise development.
Appcelerator devs were asked which operating system is best positioned to win the enterprise market. Fifty three per cent said iOS, with Android coming in at 38 per cent. Last year, in its second quarter survey, the two companies were level at 44 per cent each.
In an interesting result, 33 per cent said they would be up for developing apps on the Windows 8 tablet.
More than 3,600 developers took part in the survey, and it's thought that developers are turning towards Apple because the company has put more emphasis on enterprise marketing and supporting the community through better security.
