Inspiring Interns targets mobile content

Recruitment specialist reckons it can help UK firms beat the recession.

The firm says companies in the mobile content space should be looking to graduate internship placement as a method of cost-effective recruitment.

Speaking to ME, Inspiring Interns CEO Ben Rosen says the approach can bridge what he calls a "talent and experience gap" faced by graduates and companies alike.

The newly-established company has already placed candidates at Brainstorm, Tanla, Zamano, Muzicall and NetM.

Rosen said: “SMEs in the UK are faced by new challenges of retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones in an uncertain economic climate. They cannot defend or improve their margins unless they continuously innovate and raise their standards in the face of global competition.

“We want to break the myth that companies are doing interns a favour by offering them an opportunity to learn and train. An internship is a mutually beneficial relationship which benefits both the employer and the intern.”
