Intel’s Mobile Wireless Group is working on embedding contactless capabilities into its microprocessors, which could rapidly improve the addressable market of NFC.
It will now develop builds based on INSIDE’s MicroRead, SecuRead and Open NFC products.

The MicroRead NFC controller supports reading via the SIM, SE or SD card while SecuRead integrates MicroRead NFC controller with a secure element and a Java Card operating system. Both products are integrated within the Open NFC protocol stack.
