Deal with music streaming sensation part of a two year contract with Telia, says Tech Crunch.
The Tech Crunch report claims INQ will pre-load and brand a device with Spotify in a similar fashion to its treatment of Skype and the upcoming Twitter phone.
Currently the Spotify app runs on desktop PCs, with a premium service launched for iPhone, Android and Symbian S60.
It's to be presumed that the cost of a Spotify subscription would be bundled into a tariff by Telia. This would be a smart move for Spotify, which has a business model that's widely believed to be unscalable as an ad-funded proposition.
An estimated two per cent of its users are signed up to the premium service.
