Services-led handset vendor to put auction site alongside Facebook, Skype and others.
Mobile News says the move is part of a drive by INQ, a division of 3 parent company Hutchison Whampoa, to base its devices around compelling web-based services. Its INQ1 phone debuted on 3, last year, but INQ is planning to roll out more devices on other networks shortly.
INQ marketing and strategy director Jeff Taylor told Mobile News: “We’re actively talking to carriers around the world for our upcoming range of devices. We’ve been thrilled with the response.”
