INQ Mobile to launch Twitter phone

It's done Skype and Facebook, now handset maker plans to build device around tweets.

Frank Meehan, CEO of INQ, told Reuters that the model would embed a Twitter client that would use wi-fi to send its 140-character messages rather than using SMS.

INQ, a division of Hutchison Whampoa, makes phones that give users seamless access to social media services. Its first device, the INQ1, integrated Facebook, Skype, Yahoo, Google and various IM apps, and sold 700,000 units.
