Inneractive releases ad SDKs for Nokia Qt and Web Runtime

Free tools allow developers to plug ads into apps on Finnish handset maker's N8 flagship

Inneractive has released what it claims is the first in-app ad SDKs for Nokia Qt and Web Runtime (WRT), available to all developers for free on its website.

The Israel-based firm, which specialises in solutions that optimise in-app ad-serving, says the SDKs have already been tested by 'dozens' of developers prior to today’s official release.

The tools give developers access to Inneractive's Ad Revenue Acceleration Platform, which inserts ads from 45 ad-networks.

The company says its SDKs are already embedded in a quarter of the apps downloaded from Nokia's Ovi Store, and 80 per cent of the top 10 games.

Inneractive shares ad revenue with developers - last month the firm said that Ovi apps can make $20,000 a month from ads.

Inneractive co-founder and CMO Offer Yehudai said: "Inneractive took it upon itself to develop these SDKs because they enable developers to create more engaging mobile apps, elevating the user experience.

"We provide the SDK for free because better apps translate to higher ad revenues for the developer and inneractive.”
