Ad specialist launches new service and proclaims huge potential of Nokia channel.
innerActive's new 'yield management solution' for mobile platforms claims to provide publishers and developers with the highest paying service for monetising their content through advertising.
According to a review of six months' performance, apps featured in Ovi's Top 10, can make up to $10,000 a month from ad revenues and another $3,000 when placed in the lower pages.
This number drops dramatically as the app goes down the rank.
The firm processes 20 per cent of Ovi's daily traffic, sending ad-requests to local networks and agencies across the world. This maximises the return developers get for most return – and that they don't end up with unsold inventory.
At the same time, ad networks benefit from segmented, responsive audience.
innerActive doesn't operate its own sales team so there's no bias towards any network. It says developers have reported and three to four times revenue increase over any single ad network.
The claims are backed up by games developer Herocraft. "With Ovi's strong global presence, ZumZum generates five million game plays a month," says Pavel Prokonich, Herocraft's CEO. "We use innerActive yield management to capitalize the local traffic, and boost our ad revenues."
innerActive also helps new publishers get their content to the store and has a twitter account for download and installation issues.
