Inmobia is targeting Latin America and Africa with a new content platform, ICP.
The Danish company says ICP provides content storage, billing and portal integration to operators. It can also offer branded content, which operators can host themselves. Alternatively, Inmobia will its install it on the operator premises free of charge. Building a portal takes less than five minutes.Denmark’s Inmobia is best known as a creator of ambitious mobile video projects, including the multi-part soaps POV Murder and Almost Hollywood. The latter is live in unexpected countries such as Zambia and Gabon and with several operators in Europe. Inmobia guarantees fast time to market for operators, with no investment required. Inmobia’s CEO Flemming Lund said: “We are doing our best to provide Scandinavian know-how so that operators and media companies can make money on mobile.”
As part of its drive into Latin America, Inmobia will sponsor the Contenidos Movilés Americas event in Miami later this month.
