InMobi hires Lee Blyth as head of sales in London

Former Microsoft exec joins ad network as it looks to extend European reach.

Dissatisfied with occupying offices in five continents and a reach of 340 million consumers in over 165 countries, InMobi has appointed Lee Blyth as head of sales in its London office to expand in the UK and Europe.

Blyth joins the global advertising network  after five years as Microsoft's mobile advertising lead. There he was responsible for monetising mobile assets and monitoring ads for both internal stakeholders and the digital community.

Speaking of his appointment, Blyth, said: "Mobile advertising is becoming increasingly popular in this region, with 15.5 billion ads delivered in Europe on InMobi’s network between July and September, and 3.6 billion in the UK alone. Our aim is to help advertisers capitalise on this growth.

"With InMobi’s network’s scale and reach, and the creative opportunities made available by our recent acquisition of Sprout, we can enable European brands and agencies to create exciting and engaging HTML5 Rich Media ad campaigns to mobile consumers worldwide.”

Continuing its plans for European growth we recently announced a partnership with InMobi, which will see our first ME Meet-Up held in Paris.
