Status updates, third party timeline posts, and tagged photos are all eyeballed in great detail.

OnlineEducation.net has released information that may shock and appall American Facebook users, particularly those that are 'friends' with their parents on the social network, as 50 per cent of the folks joined to keep tabs on their children.

Scandalous, right? It gets worse. 43 per cent of the would-be spies look at their kid's Facebook profile daily, while 31 per cent do so four-five times a week. In particular, 41 per cent are keen on checking status updates, followed by 39 per cent who want to see what friends post on their wall.
