The ceremony has been a huge boon for the mobile space, but also the fitness market too, as viewers powered a 144 per cent mobile web traffic increase for health site visits, seemingly inspired by the athletes competing.
Now, mobile messaging firm Sybase 365 has analysed the top five texting moments from the Olympics, with the opening Parade of Nations taking the first place for driving a 137 per cent SMS spike.
