China powers mobile-based usage.

Business-based social network LinkedIn has crossed the 200m user milestone, rising from 174m back in August, which is when it announced 15 per cent of registrations come from mobiles.

Of course, the user base isn't as high as Facebook's 1bn or Twitter's half billion, but that's largely down to the company's enterprise focus.

The firm has released an infographic to complement the news, revealing that China and Brazil are accounting for the highest mobile usage growth, while telecoms is the fifth largest industry on the network with 1.59m employees.
