Ad clicks across all major platforms rose by 711 per cent.
New stats from mobile ad specialist inneractive surveyed more than 80 ad networks across 200 countries for platforms including iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Nokia.
The data reveals that ads for iOS generated the highest growth of 981 per cent, while Android followed with 759 per cent. Nokia has a 423 per cent rise as BlackBerry trailed but still grew with 265 per cent.
Other results show that ad clicks were up by 711 per cent, revenues were up by 522 per cent and the spend rose by 464 per cent.
The US powered ahead with a 983 per cent rise on ad serves, with Europe receiving a 712 per cent increase.
