Quarter of Americans now own a tablet or e-reader.
Financial comparison site CreditDonkey observed trends in the e-book market to complete the infographic, which shows there has been a 17.1 per cent drop in print sales during 2011.
Meanwhile, 31 per cent of publishers thought tablets were the ideal reading method, falling from 46 per cent in 2010.
