Mobile games publisher rebrands to accommodate parent's moniker
Mumbai-based Indiagames is now operating under the UTV Indiagames brand as part of its ongoing integration with majority stakeholder UTV Software Communications.
UTV acquired a controlling stake in Indiagames back in December 2007, after the games publisher has established itself across mobile, online and interactive TV channels.
The Indiagames rebranding follows that of fellow UTV unit True Games, which recently became UTV True Games.
Indiagames says there will be no change to its management, operations or shareholding as part of the rebrand.
The original Indiagames logo will continue to be a trademark of the company and 'used as appropriate from time to time'.

Vishal Gondal, CEO and Founder of Indiagames, said: "UTV and Indiagames have significant business synergies. We believe the new brand creates a stronger positioning for the two companies in the business environment."
