Quad-core processor and S-Pen based apps.

Earlier this week, talk of an eight-inch Samsung Galaxy Note tablet surfaced, with an unveiling thought to be taking place at MWC 2013.

DDay has now reportedly scooped pictures of the iPad Mini/Kindle Fire killer, which boasts a quad-core processor and S-Pen for specially designed stylus-based apps.

The device's eight-inch screen outstrips both the 7.9-inch Mini and seven-inch Fire, though the latter line also has an 8.9-inch model available. The Note 8 is described as a larger version of the S III or Note II, while sporting a 5MP camera without flash.

Samsung is also rumoured to be preparing a Galaxy S IV for a post-MWC launch on March 4th, with the device's camera recently shown off via a very dodgy-looking leaked image.
