Hungarian DVB-H trial commences

Vodafone and T-Mobile's Hungarian broadcast mobile TV trial is under way.

In what is proving to be a busy day in the world of mobile TV, Hungarian operators T-Mobile and Vodafone have teamed with Nokia Siemens Networks and broadcaster Antenna to launch a DVB-H trial.

It's a pretty straightforward deal, with Nokia Siemens providing its DVB-H broadcast mobile TV technology and Antenna providing the content (11 channels in total) for an experiment that will run in Budapest until the end of this month.
