Indian content giant teams up with Reliance Big Entertainment and T-Series in bold new multi channel project.
In the strategic alliance, all three companies will co-own the current and future music catalogue of Big Entertainment, which is India's leading music publisher. The catalogue will be exclusively distributed by the T-Series record label on all physical formats, radio and TV, while Hungama will handle mobile and digital formats across the globe.
The catalogue will be available for download on Hungama’s digital distribution network comprising of all telecom carriers in India and 37 other countries. It will also cover internet portals which include Hungama.com, and online stores such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon MP3 and others.
Neeraj Roy, CEO of Hungama Digital Media, said: “As consumers warm up to new formats of entertainment, especially in the digital domain, the right time for the Indian music industry to build an eco-system that will work towards satiating all forms of consumer touch points.

Reliance Big Music’s catalogue consists of best selling albums such as Cash, Johnny Gaddar, Rock On, Luck By Chance alongside artists such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and singers such as A. R. Rahman, Adnan Sami, Alka Yagnik and more.
