Rumours suggest the OEM will make the chop to cut costs.
HTC has been in something of a free fall lately, with sales declining 35 per cent in Q1 as competition from Apple and Samsung stunts growth.
Meanwhile, the company sold a 25 per cent share of its majority-owned Beats Audio tech firm last month, which has reignited rumours that the firm will stop integrating Beats with future models in order to reduce costs.
Now, in an attempt to reveal the truth (or smother it) HTC has issued a statement to Android Central, saying: "HTC remains strongly committed to Beats Audio and including their innovation in our devices.
"Any rumour of HTC no longer integrating Beats Audio into our devices is categorically false."
The OEM was dealt a further blow this week, and prepares to lose $40 million from its investment in online gaming platform OnLive.
