GSMA figures says mobile broadband ecosystem totals 941 devices from 117 suppliers.

The GSM Association says there are 60 million people globally using mobile broadband services based on HSPA technology.

Figures show there was a tenfold increase in monthly HSPA connections in the 850MHz band between June 2007 and June 2008, with growth driven by the Americas and Australia.

There are 199 live HSPA networks in 93 countries today, up from 151 commercially available networks in 72 countries back in January.

Furthermore, the HSPA device ecosystem now totals 941 devices from 117 suppliers, up from 414 devices from 91 suppliers in Januray.

Specifically, the GSMA says there are 317 handsets, 227 embedded notebooks, 82 USB modems, 70 data cards, 46 wireless routers and 44 embedded modules currently available.
