UGC = User Generated Cuteness?

AITIA Corporation has released its fourth Hello Kitty application for iPhone: Hello Kitty Dancing Sampler.

Described as a "toy sampler", it lets users choose a backing track and then record their own vocals or sounds, before watching Sanrio's popular cartoon cat dance to the results.

Styles include hip-hop, house, reggae and techno, with different dance steps for each - we're promised breakdancing and 'doing the robot'. Up to four songs can be saved in memory for future playing.

The application costs £1.79 in the UK App Store, and is the third paid iPhone app based on the character, following dress-up avatars app iHelloKitty Tokyo, and photography app Hello Kitty Camera.

AITIA has also released one free Hello Kitty app to celebrate the character's 35th anniversary.
