Hellboy hits Verizon Wireless

Hellboy hits Verizon Wireless

Mobile video clips based on the Hellboy animated movies now live courtesy of Player X.

Verizon Wireless is the first operator to offer Player X-produced video clips based on the Hellboy animated movies Sword of Storms and Blood & Iron.

The clips, licensed from Starz Media, feature the voice of actor Ron Pearlman, who plays the comic book hero in the live action movie Hellboy II: The Golden Army, which will be released theatrically on July 11th.

Following the Verizon premiere, Player X is distributing the Hellboy content through on-deck and off-deck channels globally, excluding Asia.

It's a well-trodden path for Player X, which last year partnered with TV-Loonland to publish mobile video content based on Transformers: The Movie (1986 version), the original animated series and the Japanese Transformers Takara series.
