Former Apple CEO rumoured to have developed the iPhone 4S successor before his death.
Two weeks ago the iPhone 4S was unveiled, which didn't sit well with many who were anticipating the iPhone 5.
Now an analyst claims the late Steve Jobs has been involved with the creation of the iPhone 5 from concept to final design, according to Cnet.
In a research note, Ashok Kumar, analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, said the next iPhone "was the last project that Steve Jobs was intimately involved with from concept to final design. For that reason...this product will establish the high water mark for iPhone volumes."
Kumar went on to declare the device will be a "cult classic" thanks to Jobs involvement. He claims the features will includes a slimmer profile, a larger screen size and 4G.
The report claims another source said iPhone 5 is a "complete redesign. This is a very large project that Steve dedicated all of his time to. He was not that involved in the 4S because his time was limited."
The iPhone 4S was released on October 14th and despite misgivings from those in the industry as well as consumers, the device has seen four million shifted in its opening weekend.
Results like this shows the power of Apple even without Jobs and if the sources are to be believed, we can expect big things from the firm's next smartphone.
The mythological iOS device will debut around summer 2012 for the Apple Developer Conference, according to Kumar's note.

More marketing hype in order to ramp the sales of the forthcoming iPhone 5. Jobs was clearly too ill to work on anything.
