Record one: Woman breaks text message record
A 27-year-old British woman apparently felt "GR8" after smashing the world record for typing the fastest text message in 2010.
To break the Guinness World Record, Melissa Thompson of Manchester texted "the razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human", in just 25.94 seconds.
Record two: Two men attempting to set a text messaging record get $26K phone bill for 217K texts
In 2009, two male friends from Philadelphia received a bill for $26,000 after sending 217,000 texts to each other in the month of March alone.
