Group CEO of VimpelCom takes over for a two-year term.
The board of the GSM Association has elected Alexander Izosimov, the Group CEO of VimpelCom, as its new Chairman for a two-year term.He replaces outgoing Chairman Craig Ehrlich, a board member of Hutchison Mobile Communications, who had served for seven years. Ehrlich will remain on the GSMA board.
Bill Hague, Executive Vice President of AT&T, was elected as Deputy Chairman.
