Holiday shopping on the rise.
Google has published some data from a survey of how users on its AdMob network shop with their phones.
53% of the 200 respondents said they use their phone to look up a product while in-store, and later buy it online.
45% use their phone as well as their PC for holiday shopping (Christmas shopping to us Brits), while 45% say they have spent at least $10 on a purchase via their phone, and 34% have spent more than $20.
29% say their phone is replacing their PC for holiday shopping, with tasks including researching products, buying them and locating retailers.
The survey follows eBay's announcement this week that it saw $13 million of sales through its mobile service on Sunday alone.
