Toilets now easier to find.

Have you ever found yourself walking around an airport trying to find baby change facilities that don’t appear to exist?

The news that Google has launched Indoor Maps in the UK may just put an end to that.

Users in the UK can now use Google Maps to find their way around inside a number of locations. A part of the standard Google Maps app, indoor maps will appear when you zoom in on a specific portion of a map.

Once zoomed into a floor plan, users can you then search within that plan.

More than 40 venues in the UK currently have their floor plans available, ranging from places like Kings Cross and Harrods to Wembley Stadium and the O2 Arena. There is a full list of supported locations on Google’s website.

People can even help push the service forward by uploading their own floorplans. Bank workers and top-secret military installation employees need not apply.

The service is available on Android 2.2 devices with Google Maps 6.0 and above, and has been available at some locations in the US since last year.
