Gofresh is to let advertisers ‘buy’ exclusive access to users of its mobile social network.
It will launch what it calls the ‘world’s first mobile social ad-network’ in New York during MIXX next week.Prices for advertisers start at $0.60 per user per day, including three different forms of advertising. The exclusive deal ensures that users do not get any other branding campaigns or banner ads during the same time period, except for text ads. For those with a minimum budget of $10,000, there are over 100 targeting parameters available. from age to special interest and location based information. The network already has more than 2.1 million mobile WAP sites optimised for more than 3,000 handsets.
GoFresh is the company behind the off-deck mobile community itsmy.com. The new service offers almost all mobile advertising formats from banners to click-to-call, in-game advertising, WAP-site branding, Mobile TV and personalized content downloads.
For the launch phase the mobile ad-network will be integrated with the 600,000 mobile internet homepages of itsmy.com. Thereafter, other mobile communities will be added. GoFresh insists it is not a competitive with traditional mobile advertising, but can be integrated within the existing ad-channels of the big ad-networks.
