Goal-oriented social network Sedogo goes live

UK start-up taps into 'desire to see more purpose and focus behind social media'.

The online project, with a dedicated mobile app on iPhone, invites users to post ambitions on a time line, and to get others to help and comment.

The thinking is that sharing goals with like-minded people makes it easier to achieve them.

Sedogo was founded by British couple Guy Eaton and Megan Lomax.

Lomax said: “When I hit 40, time was suddenly made real – I started wondering if I was using my time well.

"We wanted to find something that would help people stop frittering away their hours, days and weeks  and help us achieve our own goals too. Maybe we are trying to channel mid-life crises into something more productive.”
