Mobile publisher's games now have 953k daily active users and 11.9m monthly active users.
Glu Mobile has upped its predicted Q2 revenues to between $16 million and $17 million, while revealing a host of stats showing the growth of its mobile social games.
The publisher announced the new guidance yesterday at an event for analysts, with CEO Niccolo de Masi telling attendees that "we've gone from an industry laggard to an industry leader" according to PocketGamer.biz.
Glu's games now have 953,000 daily active users and 11.9 million monthly active users, with iOS and Android title Gun Bros singled out for attention. The game has cost around $1 million so far to develop and market, yet in Q1 this year generated $2.3 million in revenues for the publisher from in-app payments, advertising and offers.
Meanwhile, another game, Contract Killer, has been downloaded 8.6 million times on iPhone and iPad alone since its release on 24 March this year.
Glu has also talked about the impact of Apple's ban on incentivised offers within iOS games. The field, known as CPI, generated $2.9 million for Glu in Q1, but that revenue must now be found elsewhere.

"50-75% of CPI dollars can be replaced with other advertising mechanics in the short term," said de Masi. "Over the medium term, we expect to do more through these methods as we accelerate updates to our social feature."
