Glu to develop and publish mobile game based on Dreamworks movie Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa.
The game will be released worldwide in conjunction with the film’s US premier on November 7th this year.Madagascar 2 isn't the only trip Glu is taking to the movies this year - it unveiled a deal with Warner Bros in February to publish a suit of content based on Speed Racer, which hits the US box office on May 9th.
Jill Braff, SVP of global publishing at Glu Mobile, said: "Madagascar was an enormous success and created a broad fan base around the world. Our production team is working closely with the DreamWorks team to create a vibrant and entertaining game that contains elements of the movie but has a storyline and game mission unique to itself."
