Glu Mobile has launched a veritable Ark of Transformers mobile content to coincide with the release of the much-anticipated movie next month.
In addition to a flagship mobile game (the first based on the Transformers licence), Glu is offering more than 30 wallpapers, seven screensavers and 15 voicetones featuring the voice of Peter Cullen, the actor who voiced Optimus Prime in the film.Glu has developed the content - which is supported by a dedicated web portal - in partnership with HPG, the licensing division of Transformers IP owner Hasbro, and the film's producers Paramount/Dreamworks.
Glu is now launching 20,000 Transformers content SKUs throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia, encompassing more than 150 carriers and distribution partners in 65 countries.
