THQ has restructured its business into three new units housing core, casual and online games.
As a result, Ian Curran has been promoted to EVP for Global Publishing, and will oversee worldwide revenue for THQ.
There is no word yet on how the company's recently scaled down mobile activisties will be affected by the reshuffle.
Curran’s responsibilities include sales, distribution and channel and territory marketing for countries worldwide.
Under Curran’s leadership, THQ’s international sales have more than doubled and he has overseen the expansion of THQ’s global operations to include 15 direct sales and marketing locations outside of the Americas.
The three new divisions will be looked after separate bosses, resulting in more promotions.
