UK MVNO will go live with a host of incentives next week
Giffgaff will launch on November 25th at giffgaff.com, offering free data to all members for a limited period.
Describing itself as a 'people-powered' mobile network (piggy backing O2's infrastructure), it will also reward its users with free UK mobile calls, texts and mobile internet for a whole year if they help to promote it.
The launch campaign is based on what Giffgaff calls a a 'Tool Hire' concept, whereby a series of marketing tools will be available for free hire by the public.
The tools are designed to promote giffgaff in an 'amusing and capturing way' - those who get involved can upload videos of themselves to YouTube and have potential to get rewarded with V.I.G (Very Important Giffgaffer) member status and a free all inclusive 12 month SIM.
