giffgaff launches 'gigabags'

Data-only 'goodybags' developed in response to customer demand.

SIM-only mobile network giffgaff has produced a selection of data-only goodybags known as 'gigabags' to appease its consumers.

giffgaff adds the new collection to its goodybags, which unites contract bundles with the freedom of PAYG tariffs.

The network has also launched an app compatible with Android, BlackBerry and iOS. For use in conjunction with the gigabags, users will be able to monitor their data use to prevent additional charges.

The gigabags can be used on mobile phones, tablets, dongles and PCs without streaming or downloading restrictions.

Tom Rainsford, head of brand and proposition, said:  "At giffgaff, the community is at the heart of everything we do and the new data-only products have been developed in response to the high demand we saw from our members.
