90% of downloaders convert to active users.
GetJar says that 90% of the people who download mobile security app NetQin from its portal turn into active users.
More than 4.4 million people have downloaded the app to date, with an average of 4,000 new active users signing up every day.
NetQin is using GetJar's Pay Per Download service to promote its app, which is available for Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets.
"NetQin also recently submitted their Android application and it’s very interesting to see the huge spike in the submission of Android apps in GetJar," says GetJar CEO Ilja Laurs.
"Android is one of our fastest growing platforms – almost a 100% percent growth in the US last month alone we’re committed to helping them distribute to the mass market, globally."
