Bingo & Slots Friendzy goes live on the Facebook UK App Centre.
Gamesys, which runs the UK bingo and slots website Jackpotjoy.com, reckons it's made history with this launch.
The move could only be made in the UK, where gambling laws are among the most liberal in the world.
Thus, Bingo & Slots Friendzy will only be available to over 18 year old Facebook users in the UK who will be subject to strict account acceptance controls verifying their identity.
Facebook will ensure that their newsfeed activity related to the games will not be visible to users under 18 years old or outside the UK.
The app itself comprises features such as:
