Spider-Man and Iron Man games coming to mobile as part of exclusive deal.
Gameloft has sealed an exclusive multi-year, multi-product mobile game licensing deal with Marvel Entertainment.The agreement commences in 2009 with mobile games based on the comic book adventures of Spider-Man, as well as a mobile game tie-in for the Iron Man 2 movie, which is slated for a 2010 box office release.
It appears Gameloft, which yesterday confirmed iPhone is now its largest sales channel, has taken over the Marvel mobile reigns from Hands-On, which released Iron Man and Hulk games earlier this year.
Last month Marvel hired mobile animation studio Campfire to adapt its comic books for mobile phones.
