Up 17 per cent to €40.6 million
Growth was driven by sales in emerging countries and by smartphones and tablets around the world. Indeed, sales on smartphones and tablets grew by 60 per cent year on year and represented a third of total revenues.
Titles singled out as star performers included Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, The Adventures of Tintin and Brothers In Arms 2: Global Front Free+
During the first nine months of 2011, Gameloft consolidated sales reached €117.4 million, up by 16 per cent year on year. On a constant exchange rate basis, nine-month growth was 18 per cent.

Europe represented 29 per cent of the company’s sales during the quarter, North America 28 per cent and the rest of the world 43 per cent.
The firm expects new gaming platforms, such as smart TVs and next-generation set-top boxes, to maintain this growth.
