Mobile games publisher looking to localise and bundle its games with popular handsets.
Gameloft is stepping up its efforts in India and is currently in talks with Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericsson and LG to embed its games in handsets, reports the Economic Times.The company already has a presence in India through operator deals with the likes of Vodafone and Airtel, but is looking to replicate 'out of the box' models its has used in Europe.
Gameloft's Hyderabad studio is handling all porting and localisation tasks and there'll likely be new games released based on popular Indian TV shows.
