Dedicated mag and spruced up portal sharpen T-Mobiles games focus in UK.
T-Mobile is embarking on an integrated games strategy comprising bi-monthly in-store magazines and a dedicated news and reviews WAP site.It’s hired Steel Media to produce the mag and run the on-deck editorial. The latter will include a Top Ten recommended list, highlights from the latest issue of the magazine plus links to the external WAP portal with news and reviews.
The portal will be launched this month to co-incide with the arrival of the magazine into all UK T-Mobile stores.
Steel Media's reviews can also be found on Vodafone Live, as well as O2’s new 100% Mobile games portal.
“We’re really excited to be working with T-Mobile and see this as the next natural step for our activities, which already span web, WAP and print,” said Chris James, MD of Steel Media. “We strongly believe that this sort of editorial can stimulate returning customers and further purchase.”
